The Connected Mothers’ Club
A Monthly Support Group for Mothers of Neurodivergent and/or Disabled Children
At Pathways we believe that no mother should walk the parenting journey alone — especially when that journey includes advocating for a neurodivergent and/or disabled child. The Connected Mothers' Club was created as a nurturing space where moms can come together, share experiences, and feel truly supported by those who understand the unique joys and challenges they face.
Is this group for you?
If you’re a mother of a neurodivergent and/or disabled child, you’ve likely asked yourself at least once: “Does anyone really get what I’m going through?”
The truth is — parenting a neurodivergent and/or disabled child comes with unmatched love and unique challenges. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, isolated, or just in need of a space where you don’t have to explain everything… this group is for you.
Ask yourself:
Do you sometimes feel alone in your parenting experience, even when surrounded by others?
Are you navigating diagnoses, therapies, or school meetings and wish you had someone to talk it through with?
Do you crave connection with other moms who truly understand neurodiversity and disability — without judgment or unsolicited advice?
Are you seeking practical tools for parenting and a place to just exhale?
Would you benefit from guidance from a parent coach who respects your child’s neurotype and your lived experience?
If you nodded “yes” to even one of these — welcome. You’ve found your place.
*We ask that parents who are not yet established clients at our clinic to please email ALLY@PATHWAYSLEARNING.CA to schedule an Initial Parent Consultation before joining this group program. Thank you!
This service is eligible for Autism Spectrum Disorder Individualized Funding under Parent Support & Education.
What exactly IS The Connected Mothers’ Club at Pathways?
The short answer?
The Connected Mothers’ Club is a monthly support group.
Here’s what that REALLY means…
The Connected Mothers’ Club at Pathways is a monthly support group designed specifically for mothers of neurodivergent and/or disabled children. It’s more than just a meeting — it’s a community, a lifeline, and a space to belong.
Led by a Neurodiversity-Affirming Parent Coach with over 10 years of experience, this group offers a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where moms can come together to:
Share their stories and struggles
Learn from one another’s experiences
Receive compassionate guidance grounded in neurodiversity-affirming values
Build lasting connections with others on a similar path
Whether you're parenting an Autistic, ADHDer, PDAer, a child with a developmental delay, physical disability, etc. — you're welcome here!
Each session includes both open conversation and gentle structure around topics like understanding and meeting our own needs as mothers, navigating loneliness, growing our parental resiliency, demands of raising multiple children, fears and anxieties about our children’s futures, partner and co-parent dynamics, and celebrating your strengths and wins as a mother.
